Zip Rip UC5 systems controllers are the link that allows a Ricoh Priport to be connected to a PC. The result is an easy to use, economical publishing system that integrates a Ricoh Priport's high speed, high volume printing and a desktop computers extensive capabilities.

The UC5 is a low cost GDI controller (upgradeable to network UC5N and postscript UC5PS) providing simple plug and play connectivity to both the Ricoh Priport VT an JP range of digital duplicators.

The benefits are invaluable: less time, less cost and less trouble required to complete your in-house publishing tasks. The UC5 ‘e' model, can also be embedded inside a Ricoh Priport.

RCP80

Designed for the most demanding graphics professionals, the RCP80 is Ricoh's own embedded RIP that supports many networks and printer languages. Set to increase productivity and ease operations in any network environment, the RCP80 offers Adobe Postscript 3 as standard for connectivity to Mac and Windows platforms.

The RCP80 offers superior image quality, with Ricoh Priport feature management capabilities.

Image quality for thin lines, small fonts and greyscale is improved for all applications. Detailed settings of the graphic image can be made by changing screen type, screen frequency or screen angle. In addition, the RCP80's built in printer management solution,

•  SmartNetMonitor, gives you real time access to such information as paper settings, misfeed alerts, job history and workflow management with other Aficio products located on your local area network.

•  Real Adobe Postscript files are processed and RCP80's PS3 provides the best output.
