Religious
(Religious Schools, Churches...)

Problem: Unreliable copying (internal), high printing costs (external) and poor time efficiency, lack of control.

Why: Copier is slow, overheats for newsletters. Not suitable for high volume. External offset printing cost high because of short runs.

Requirements: An in-house printing system that prints Sunday bulletins, Sermon notes, newsletters, song sheets, announcements, envelopes etc whilst improving administration and reducing costs.

Solution: Ricoh Priport JP8500 interfaced with RCP80 and a range of colours.

Why: Can comfortably handle larger print volumes reducing external printing costs. Copier now very reliable as it is being used for low volume only. Full control in-house and printing as needed.

Corporate
(Government, Large Scale Printers, Mailing companies, Large businesses)

Problem: High copying costs, frequently changing documents (high external printing costs), high cost of colour printing, unable to print on non standard sizes

Why: High copy volume, click-charge cost high, forms changing regularly requiring reprinting (plate, artwork), spot colour cost same as full colour on copier.

Requirements: Handles high volume, on demand printing reducing wastage (forms), easy to use, colour option, reliable, able to print envelopes and postcards.

Solution: Ricoh Priport JP8500 interfaced with RCP80 and a range of colours.

Why: Suitable for very high volumes, enabling on demand printing reducing wastage. Direct printing from computer of forms, envelopes and post cards. Colour matched to corporate colour requirements – retaining corporate identity. Frequent newsletters and promotional fliers changed to colour – at almost the same cost as black and white. Maintenance click-charge of copier reduced significantly.
